RESOLUTION NO. 92- 15 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING A FOUR-WAY STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF FOREST AND LEWIS STREETS IN THE CITY OF GILROY PURSUANT TO SECTION 15-40 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE WHEREAS, the city Engineer has studied traffic conditions at the intersection of Forest and Lewis Streets, and determined that current traffic volumes and periodic truck traffic volumes during the canning season warrant the installation of a four-way stop at this intersection; and WHEREAS, under section 15.40 of the Gilroy City Code, the city Administrator is required to cause stop signs to be erected and maintained at any entrance to an intersection designated for a required stop by resolution of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT vehicles shall be required to stop at all entrances to the intersection of Forest and Lewis Streets, and the City Administrator is hereby directed to instruct the Director of Public Works to erect and maintain a four- way stop at that intersection.
