RESOLUTION NO. 93 - 4A
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY SETTING PRIORITIES AND
PLEDGING MATCHING FUNDS FOR PROJECTS ELIGIBLE FOR FUNDING FROM THE FEDERAl SURFACE
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM AND CONGESTION MITIGATION/AIR QUALITY PROGRAM FUNDS THROUGH
THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY CONGESTION MANAGEMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Congestion Management Agency operates the
commuter network on behalf of its Member Agencies to provide consistent county-wide
Transportation Demand Management Program; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Congestion Management Agency has applied for
federal funding for its Member Agencies from the Federal Surface Transportation
Program and Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality Program; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Congestion Management Agency requires their
Member Agencies to obtain from the City Council an Approval of Priorities and
Pledge Matching Funds for fiscal year 1994-95; and
\VHEREAS, the City of Gilroy, a Member Agency, is eligible to receive funds
for qualifying projects if the City Council at its meeting sets priorities and
pledges matching funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gilroy
hereby sets the priorities for its eligible projects, and pledges the matching
funds as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February, 1993, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GILROY, HALE, KLOECKER, NELSON, ROWLISON, VALDEZ
and GAGE.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT:COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
