RESOLUTION NO. 93 - 38
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING 1993 SALARY
SCHEDULES FOR POLICE, MISCELLANEOUS AND EXEMPT PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for city officers and
employees by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Memoranda of Understanding currently in effect between the City
and the bargaining units for police, three and one half percent (3.5%) and
miscellaneous personnel, five percent (5%) increase in salaries effective July 1,
1993.
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City to increase salaries for exempt
personnel, three and one half (3.5%) in accordance with the increases for
bargaining units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salaries for 1993 for exempt,
police and miscellaneous personnel as set forth in the attached schedules,
consisting of seven (7) pages, are hereby approved and established to be effective
on July 1, 1993.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1993 by the following vote:
AYES; COUNCILMEMBERS: GILROY, HALE, KLOECKER, ROWLISON, VALDEZ and GAGE.
