RESOLUTION NO. 93- 56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY APPROVING GPA 93-01, AMENDING THE
GENERAL PLAN MAP FROM PARK/PUBLIC FACILITY TO
LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ON APPROXIMATELY 9.03
ACRES LOCATED ON SANTA ERE SA BOULEVARD, EAST
OF LONGMEADOW DRIVE, APN 790-05-039.
WHEREAS, James and Anne Lenihan have submitted GPA 93-01
to amend the General Plan Map to redesignate property from
Park/Public Facility to Low Density Residential on approximately
9.03 acres located on Santa Theresa Boulevard, East of Longmeadow
Drive, APN 790-05-039, as such land is shown on the map attached
hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference; and,
WHEREAS, the city prepared, circulated and adopted in
accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"),
a Negative Declaration applicable to this project;
WHEREAS, the Planning commission held a duly noticed
public hearing on GPA 93-01 on September 2, 1993 and subsequently
voted unanimously to adopt Resolution No. 93-28 recommending that
the city Council approve GPA 93-01; and,
WHEREAS, the city Council held a duly noticed public
hearing on GPA 93-01 on September 20, 1993;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
A. Approval of GPA 93-01 is in the public interest.
B. GPA 93-01 is hereby approved, and the Gilroy General
Plan Map is hereby amended to redesignate property from Park/Public
Facility to Low Density Residential on approximately 9.03 acres
located on Santa Theresa Boulevard, East of Longmeadow Drive, APN
790-05-039, as such land is shown on the on Exhibit A.
C. The Mitigation/Monitoring Plan incorporating the
mitigation measures enumerated in the Negative Declaration adopted
on January 21, 1992 in conjunction with GPA 91-06, attached hereto

as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 1993 by
the following vote:
