RESOLUTION NO. 93 - 76
RESOLUTION OVERRUliNG. PROTESTS
NORTH FOREST STREET ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
CITI OF GILROY
The City Council of the City of Gilroy resolves:
Op:ieptember 27, 1993, and October 4, 1993, the City Council opened public
hearings 0... the resolution of intention and the engineer's report on the proposed
improvement in North Forest Street Assessment District, City of Gilroy, County of Santa
Clara, State of California. The hearings were further continued from time to time by
resolution to December 6, 1993.
At or before the times set for hearings, certain interested persons made protests
or objections to the proposed improvement, the extent of the assessment district or the
proposed assessment.
The City Council hereby overrules each of these protests, written or oral.
The City Council finds that the protest against the proposed improvement
(including all written protests not withdrawn in writing before the conclusion of the
protest hearings) is made by the owners of less than one-half of the area of the land to
be assessed for the improvement.
I HEREBY CERTIFY TIfAT the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California, at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 6th day of Dee., 199~ by the following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES, and in favor, thereof, Council members: GILROY, KLOECKER, MORALES,
ROGERS, ROWLISON, VALDEZ and GAGE.
NOES, Councilmembers: None
