RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 10
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT
NORTH FOREST STREET ASSESSMENT DISTIUCT
CI1Y OF GILROY
The City Council of the City of Gilroy resolves:
The City of Gilroy has received public bids for the construction of improvements
in North Forest Street Assessment District, City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of
California.
The Engineer of Work has reviewed the bids and now recommends award of the
construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder, TIUNCHERO CONSTRUCTION,
INC., whose bid price is $1,310,146.00.
The Council therefore awards the contract to that bidder. All other bids are
rejected.
The Council directs the City Clerk to publish a notice of award of contract.
The Council authorizes and directs the City Administrator or the Purchasing Agent
and the City Clerk to sign the written contract for this construction when it is presented
to them for signature, along with the surety bonds and insurance certificates required
by the construction specifications.
Said written contract will provide that the contractor agrees to comply with the
provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California, and particularly
with Sections 1776 and 1777.5 thereof.

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California, at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of January, 1994, by the following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES, and in favor, thereof, Councilmembers: GILROY, KLOECKER, MORALES,
ROGERS, ROWLISON, VALDEZ and GAGE.
