RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 15
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF
GENERAL SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE VARIOUS TYPES OF EQUIPMENT,
SUPPLIES, MATERIALS, AND AUTHORIZING EMPLOYEES TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
GILROY IN ACQUIRING FEDERAL SURPLUS PROPERTY.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gilroy does hereby
authorize the Office of Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of
California to purchase various types of equipment, supplies, and materials for on
behalf of the City of Gilroy and that the Purchasing Agent of the City of Gilroy is
hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other
documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Gilroy. This
resolution also authorizes patricia Huth, Mark Good, Jim Callahan, Gregg Giusiana,
and Greg Miller to acquire federal surplus property from the California State
Agency for Surplus Property, and directs the Purchasing Agent to coordinate the
acquisition of all said surplus property, and to sign and deliver all necessary
documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Gilroy.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GILROY, KLOECKER, MORALES,
VALDEZ and GAGE.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
