RESOLUTION NO. 94-61
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY ADJUSTING AND FIXING MAXIMUM CHARGES
FOR THE COLLECTION OF GARBAGE, REFUSE, AND
RUBBISH
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 12.23 of the Gilroy City
Code, maximum charges for the collection of garbage, refuse, and
rubbish shall be fixed from time to time by resolution of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the maximum
rates currently in effect under Resolution 92-73 should be adjusted
to reflect higher costs pursuant to the 1994 rate increase request
of South Valley Disposal & Recycling, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the maximum charges
for the collection of garbage, refuse, and rubbish effective from
July 1, 1994 shall be as set forth on the rate schedule, consisting
of one page, attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
this reference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 1994 by the
following vote:
