RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 10
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY, CALIFORNIA, REGARDING THE SANTA
CLARA COUNTY AUCTION OF LAND IN GILROY FOR UNPAID TAXES.
WHEREAS, during the month of March, 1995 the Santa Clara County Tax
Assessor will be conducting their regular auction of properties that have taxes
unpaid for at least five years, in which the City has a right to purchase any of
these parcels far the minimum bid plus publishing casts if the owners fail to pay
the past due taxes prior to the auction date; and
WHEREAS, Assessor's Parcel Number 841-08-003 is a 1/3 acre parcel at the
northeast corner of Monterey Street and Hcrolein Court; and
WHEREAS, the Planning commission and City Council have expressed ooncern
aver the lack of downtown parking along Monterey Street between Sixth and Seventh
streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, that the City of Gilroy intends to purchase said property, more
particularly described as Assessor's Parcel Number 841-08-003.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1995 by the following vote:

VALDEZ and GAGE.
