RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE THE STATE-LOCAL TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM MASTER
AGREEMENT NO. SLTPP-5034, AND THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE LEAVESLEY
ROAD WIDENING PROJECT (PROJECT t: SB96-5034(002).
WHEREAS, the State-Local Transportation Partnership Program (SLTPP) makes
funds available to local agencies for partial funding of eligible transportation
improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the City has applied and received approval for funding for the
Leavesley Road Widening Project (Project #:SB96-5034(002) in the amount of
$320,042.00 or 5.8B% of the contract award amount, which ever is less; and
WHEREAS, SLTPP guidelines call for the execution of the Master Agreement
and the Program Supplement Agreement by a city official authorized to do so by
resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby
authorized and directed to execute said agreements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 1996, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GILROY, MORALES, ROGERS, SPRINGER, VALDEZ and
GAGE.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT:COUNCILMEMBER: ROWLISON
