Resolution 1997-30 ~ ~ . . ~ . RESOLUTION NO. 97-30 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN AGENT FOR THE RECEIPT OF DISASTER ASSISTANCE FUNDS FOR DISASTER NUMBER FEMA-1155 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy that Jay Baksa, City Administrator, William 1. Hall, Accountant II, or Rene Vise, Accounting Supervisor, are hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Gilroy a public entity established under the laws of the State of California, an application to the Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of obtaining certain federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288, as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and! or state financial assistance under the Natural Disaster Assistance Act for the flood which occurred in January of 1997; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Gilroy hereby authorizes its agents to provide to the State Office of Emergency Services all matters pertaining to such state disaster assistance and the assurances and agreements required.
