RESOLUTION NO. 97-35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY HONORING AND COMMENDING
THE SERVICES OF SUSANNE E. STEINMETZ,
CITY CLERK, UPON HER RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, SUSANNE E. STEINMETZ, City Clerk, has served the City of Gilroy for
over 45 years; and
WHEREAS, SUSANNE E. STEINMETZ, City Clerk, has declared that she will retire
from the City of Gilroy on July 31, 1997; and
WHEREAS, during her long period ofloyal service, always performed her duties
conscientiously, honestly and with the best interests of the City of Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportunity to honor SUSANNE
E. STEINMETZ, City Clerk, for her conscientious and faithful service to the City and the
community at large.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Gilroy City Council does hereby
commend and honor SUSANNE E. STEINMETZ, City Clerk, for her loyal and faithful service to
her fellow citizens, community and country and wish SUSANNE E. STEINMETZ and her family
continued success and happiness in all future endeavors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1997, by the following vote:
