RESOLUTION NO. 2000-86
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING THE JANUARY 1,2001 SALARY SCHEDULE AS WELL
AS RETRO-ACTlVE SALARY SCHEDULES FOR THE TIME PERIOD JULY
1, 1999 - DECEMBER 31, 2000 FOR FIRE PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for city officers and employees by
resolution; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salaries effective January 1,2001 for
the Fire personnel as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page, is hereby
approved and established with a Two (2%) percent increase effective on January 1, 2001. In
addition, based on the arbitrator award, the following retroactive salary increases are hereby
approved: July 1, 1999 - 3% increase; January 1,2000 - 4% increase; and July 1,2000 - 3%
increase, These retroactive salary increases are set forth in the attached salary schedules
consisting ofthree (3) pages.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December 2000 by the following vote:
