RESOLUTION NO. 2007-64
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING THE
JULY 1, 2007 SALARY FOR EXEMPT PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for city officers and employees by
resolution; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salaries effective July I, 2007 for the
Exempt Personnel, excluding Department Heads and Council Appointed positions, are hereby
approved and established with a three (3%) percent increase effective on July 1,2007. While
these specified exempt position salary ranges will all be adjusted by 3%, only those exempt
employees that received a 4.7% or less salary adjustment on January 1, 2007 as part ofthe
exempt compensation study shall receive the actual 3 % increase. Exempt employees that
received more than a 4.7% increase with the exempt compensation study will be considered for a
performance based increase at the time of their next regularly scheduled employee performance
evaluation.
