RESOLUTION NO. 2009-39
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING
STOP CONTOL ON WELBURN AVENUE AT ITS INTERSECTION
WITH HANNA STREET IN THE CITY OF GILROY
PURSUANT TO SECTION 15.40 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has studied the traffic conditions at the intersection of
Welburn Avenue and Hanna Street and determined that right-of-way assignment warrants the
installation of stop control on W elburn Avenue; and
WHEREAS, under Section 15.40 of the Gilroy City Code, the City Administrator is
required to cause stop signs be erected and maintained at any entrance to an intersection
designated for a required stop by resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that vehicles shall be required to stop at all
entrances to the intersection of W elburn Avenue and Hanna Street.
