CDA and City Resolution 89-5 . . RESOLUTION NO. 89-~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY CALLING FOR THE CONVENING OF A FISCAL REVIEW COMMITTEE WHEREAS, on January 16, 1989, the Community Development Agency of the City of Gilroy (the "Agency") authorized transmittal of, and the City of Gilroy received, the Preliminary Report prepared for the Gilroy Community Redevelopment Project Area pursuant to California Health & Safety Code Section 33344.5; and WHEREAS, California Health and, Safety Code Section 33353 authorizes a county or any affected taxing agency to call for the creation of a fiscal review committee within 15 days after receipt of the Preliminary Report. Pursuant to Section 33353.2, the City of Gilroy is an "affected taxing agency", and as such, wishes to call for the convening of a Fiscal Review Committee to review the impact of the proposed redevelopment project upon the affected taxing entities. BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED THAT: 1. The City Council of the City of Gilroy approves the convening of a Fiscal Review Committee and hereby requests the Mayor and staff to notify all other affected taxing agencies of the creation of such Committee.
