AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO ~IE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION OF A
HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF GILROY AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY, TO-WIT: THAT
PORTION OF THE LEAVESLEY ROAD FROM THE EASTERLY LINE OF MONTEREY
STREET TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF THE CITY LIMITS OR BOUNDARIES OF
THE CITY OF GILROY, LYING WlnIIN SAID CITY OF GILROY.

THE N~YOR A1m COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Mayor and Common Council of the City of
Gilroy hereby consents to the establishment of a certain portion
of a highway within the said City of Gilroy as a part of a County
highway of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, to-wit:
Leavesley Road from the easterly line of Monterey Street
to the easterly line of the City limits or boundaries lying
within said City of Gilroy; that the same shall be a County
Highway of the County of Santa Clara, State of California.
SECTION 2: That the above and foregoing consent is given and
made pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Santa Clara declaring a highway in the City of Gilroy to
be a County Highway, a copy of said Resolution has been filed in
the office of the City Clerk in the said City of Gilroy, duly
executed and attested.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
