AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHr!tENT OF PORTIONS OF
CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF GILROY TO BE COUNTY HIGHWAYS.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUN ClL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy
hereby consents to the establishment of certain portions of certain
streets within the City of Gilroy to be and become county highways,
to wit:
Those certain portions of certain streets within
said City of Gilroy described as follows:
Princevalle street from Hecker Highway to the
lands of J.Leroy Nickel et al, and from Second street
to Sixth Street inclusive and of Third street between
Hanna and Princevalle streets, lying within the said
City of Gilroy, Santa Clara County, California.
SECTION 2: That the above and foregoing consent is given and
made pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Supervisors of said
County of Santa Clara declaring said portions of said streets to
be County highways of the County of Santa Clara, passed and adopted
by said Board of Supervisors on the 14th day of October, 1946. A
copy of said resolution have been filed in the office of the City
Clerk of the said City of Gilroy,and duly executed and attested.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
