""..,...r. -:'........ -;... ~j~ ".."'. .= (. , f' C,:'"" ....: ) / ) 7 .~"v o R Q I ~ ~ N .Q E ! 0 ~ 455 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC ON THAT CERTAJN ALLEY FROM FOURTH STREET TO SEVENTH STREET IN THE CITY OF GILROY, BElliG BETWEEll MONTEREY HIGHWAY AND EIGELBERTY STREET, AND THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC ON THAT CERTAIN ALLEY FROM OLD GILROY STREET TO LEWIS STREET, BEING BETWEEN MONTEREY HIGHWAY AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD. ............... . THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE eIn OF allaROY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. All travel shall proceed in a Southerly direction on that certain alley from Fourth Street to Seventh Street in the City of Gi~r9Y, being between Monterey Highway and Eigelberry Street. SECTION 2. All travel shall proceed in a Northerly direction on that certain alley from Old Gilroy Street to Lewis Street in the City of Gilroy, said alley being between Monterey Highway and the Southern Pacific Railroad. SECTION 3. Due and proper signs shall be erected to give notice to the public as to the flow of traffic herein provided for. SECTION 4. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. Any person, firm, partnership or corporation who shall violate any of the provisi ons of this Ordinance or who shall drive any vehicle or motor vehicle in a direction opposite to that herein pro~ided, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in the city jail for a period of not more than thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
