AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY DESIGNATING CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS
UNDER ITS EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION AS STOP INTERSECTIONS AND PROVIDING
FOR THE MARKING AND/OR SIGN POSTING THEREOF TO GIVE NOTICE OF SUCH
FACT.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The intersections of Second street and Hanna street,
Third street and Hanna street, Fourth Street and Hanna street, First
street and Princevalle street, First street and Carmel street, First
Street and Church street, and Third street and Eigleberry street
within said City, are hereby designated as a public highway; That
vehicles shall be stopped before entering Second street at both
entrances thereto from said Hanna street, before entering Third
Street at both entrances thereto from said Hanna street, before
entering Fourth Street at both entrances thereto from said Hanna
Street, before entering First street at the South entrance thereto
from said Princevalle street and Carmel street, before entering
First street at the North entrance thereto from said Church street,
before entering said Third street at both entrances thereto from
said Eigleberry street. That such entrances shall be clearly marked
and/or signs posted to give notice of such fact, pursuant to the
provisions of Sections 466, 468 and 471 of the Vehicle Code of the
state of California.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances and/or Resolutions pertaining to
the above mentioned intersections and in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
