AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION 16 OF SECTION 22 OF ORDINANCE
NOo 452 RELATING TO VENDING MACHINES BY EXCLUDING SELF-SERVICE
ICE BOXES OR STRUCTURES VENDING ICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMM0N COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 10 Subdivision 16 of Section 22 of Ordinance No. 452
of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended to read as follows:
16. CIGARETTE VENDING MACHINES, ETCo Each owner of any
type of vending machine shall pay $5.00 per year in advance for
each and every type machine operated by such owner, except that
this prOVision shall not apply to any self-service ice box or
structure or equipment vending ice; the operation of an ice vending
machine, equipment, box or structure shall be, for the pl1rpose
of this Ordinance, considered the operation and carrying on of
a business and the license therefor shall be governed by Section 21
of said Ordinance No. 4520
SECTION 20 This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after
its adopticn and approvalo
SECTION 30 All Ordinances, and parts of Ordinances, in
conflict herewith are hereby repealedo
