AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CRDINANCE NO. 422 OF THE CITY OF GILROY
PROVIDING FCR THE ESTABLISHMENT IN SAID CITY OF CERTAIN DISTRICTS
IN WHICH CLASSES OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND THE USE
THEREOF ARE LIMITED, COnORLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING" ORDINANCE;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING O?'CASTLEWOOD PARK UNIT NO.1"
AND "SEC0ND WESTERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GILROY" AND THEIR
CLASSIFICATION UNDER THE "ZONING" ORDINANCE.

THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS I
Section 1. Ordinance Io. 422 of the City of Gilroy,
generally called and known as the "Zoning" Ordinance of said City,
is hereby amended) upon recoDlllenda tion of the "City Planning
Commission" of the
~ity of Gilroy in the following particUlars,

to-wit t
Subdivision 1. - That the following described premises
known as "Castlewood Park Unit No. I" be added to and become a part
of Zone A, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a p~int in the easterly line of Killer
Avenue and the westerly line of the City of Gilroy
from which the northeasterly corner of "Tract No. 506,
Cast~ewood Park,Uh1t NO.1", as shown on Map recorded
in Book 18 at page 40, of maps, official records of
Santa Clara County, bears N. 89- 08' 30" w. 80000
feet and running thence 110. 89- 08' 30" W. 230.00 feet
to the northwest corner of Castlewood Park; thence
southerly along the westerly line of C~stlewood Park
to the southerly line of Third Street; thence easterly
along the southerly line of Third Street to the westerly
line of1filler Avenue; thence easterly across Miller
Avenue to the intersection of the southerly line of
Third Street with the easterly line of Miller Avenue;
thence northerly along the easterly line of Killer.
Avenue to the point of beginningo
Subdivision 2 - ~hat the following described premises
kni"'wn as "Second Western Addition to the City of Gilroy" be
added to and become a part of Zone A, to-wit:
BEING a part of Ranch Lots 16 and 20 as shown on Map
110. 7 accompanying the report of the Referees in the
Las Animas Partition Suit, Action Jo. 5536, had in
the Superior Court of the State of California, in and
for the County of Santa Clara, and more particularly

of Princevalle Street with the Southerly line or

Section 2 - That the "Zoning" Map of the City of Gilroy
referred to in the said "Zoning" Ordinance andmade a part
thereof shall be made to conform with the changes herein set
forth.
Section 3 - This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval.
