GEIfERALLY DOWN AS THE "ZONING" ORDINANCEI PIDVIDING FOR THE
ES,ABLISBlEWf WITHIN SAID CITY OF CERTAIN DISTRICTS WITHIN WHICH THE
CLASSES 01' BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES AND THEIR USE THEREOF ARE LIMITED
AND ClRTAIN OTHER REGULATIONS ARE APPLIED; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN
TBRRITORY NOW IN ZONE "B" BE RE-CLASSIFIED AND PLACED IN ZONE "C1"
DISTRICT.
Whereas, Elmer J. Serpa has heretofore filed with the
"City Planning Commission" of the City of Gilroy, a petition
reque.ttBI that the premises hereinatter in this Ordinance described,
be rezoned and its classification changed from Zt"ne "B" to Zone tIC"
district and the said Planning Commission having duly heard the said
petition after due and legal notice of the hearing thereof, and
having regularly adopted and transmitted to the City Clerk of the City
ot Gilroy, a Resolution and report recommending that the zoning
classifieation of said property be Changed from "B" district to "Cl"
district, and
Whereas, the Common Council of -the Cit y of Gilroy did here-
totore and on the 7~hdayof August ,1950, adopt a Resolution
fixing Monday, the 28th day of August, 1950, at the hour of 8,00
P.K. O'clock, as the time for the hearing of the recommendation and
report ot the said "City Planning Commission" and did cause aotic.
of said hearing to be given in the manner and for the period required
b.Y law, and the matter now having come on' regularly to be heard before
the Common Council of the City of Gilroy, and having been duly
considered by it and no one appearing to Object to the re-
classification of said property, and the Common Council deeming it for
the best i*terest of the City of Gilroy that t he said property be
reclassitied in accordance with the rec~mmendation and report of the
said "City Planning Commission"o
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said report and
recommendation of said "City Planning Commission" be, and the same is
hereby adopted, and

known as the "Zoning" Ordinace be, and the same is hereby amended,
as follows:
1. That the following described premises now in Zone "Bet
district as the same is defined in the said "Zoning" Ordinance
of the said City of Gilroy, be reclassified and placed in and
included in Zone "C1" district, to-witt
Kumbers 9, 10, 11. 12 and 13 in Block 6 Ibrth of
Range 5 West of the Loupe Addition to the City of
Gilroy, as shown upon the official map thereof
on file and of record in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, state of
California.
Section 2. That the map showing the boundaries and
districts of the various Zones as established by the "Zoning"
ordinance of the City of Gilroy and f~rming a part of the ordinance
be made to conform to the changes herein set fortho
Section 30 This ordinance shall be in f11l1 force and
effect ~om and after its adoption and approval.
