ORDINANCE NO. 492
AN ORDINANCE k~ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 422, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
"ZONING ORDINANCE" BY ~1EZONING TERllITORY THEREIN LOCATED ALONG
THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF FIRST STREET BETWEEN ROSANNA AND HANNA
STREETS FROM ZONE "B- DISTRICT AND PLACING THE SAME IN Z0NE
"C-1" DISTRICT.
THE COlvFWN COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS I
Section 1. That the fol1~wing described premises
in the said City of Gilroy now located in Z~ne "B" District, as
the same is described and defined in Ordinance No. 422
of the City of Gilroy, are hereby removed from said district
and placed in Z~ne "C-l" District, to-wit:
BEING a portion of Lot 1 in Block 5 North, Range 4 West,
in the City of ui1roy, as sh~wn on Map No.9 accompanying
the report of the Refereesin the Las Animas Rancho
Partition Suit, Action WOe 5536 had in the Superior Court
of the State of California, in and for the County of
Santa Clara, and being mor e particularly described as
follows:
"BEGINNING at the northerly common corner to
Lots 1 and 5 in the southerly line of First street
and running thence along the line common to said
Lots S. 20. OOf E. 122.50 feet1 thence N. 70.
00' E. 21.50 feet; thence N. 3~. 12' E. 29.42
feet; thence N. 20. 00' w. 44.00 feet; thence N.
70. 00' E. 13.50 feet; thence N. 20. 00' W
63 feet to the southerly line of First Street;
thence along the southerly line of First Street
S. 70. 00' w. 60.00 feet t~ the point of beginning".
Reference is hereby had to the maps and general zoning ordinance
of the City of Gilroy n0W on file in the office of the eit y
Clerk.
Section 2. The boundaries of said "B" district and
said "C-Itt district are hereby changed in accordance with and
to c~nf0rm to this ordinance and the map constituting a part
of the "Zoning Ordinance" of the City of Gilroy, in said
Ordinance and therein referred to shall be made to c~nform to the
changes herein set f~rth.
