AN ORDINANCE PROVIDI~G FOR AND REQUIRING THE UBTAINING OF A PERMIT TO
CONNECT PREMISES LOC,:l.TED IN AREAS HEREAFTER ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY
WITH THE SEvVERAGE SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF GILRuY, AND FIXING THE AM0UNT TO
BE PAID TO liBTAIN THE PERMIT AUTHORIZING SUCH CuNNECTION AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES AND PARTS uF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH 0
THE COMMCJN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. No person, firm or corporation shall connect any
premises or building located in any area hereafter annexed to the City of
Gilroy with the sewer system of the City of Gilroy, nrr is any such sewer
system connection to be made until and unless the sum of Fifty ($50000)
Dollars has been paid to the City of Gilroy for each such connectiono
SECTION 20 A fund shall be established by the City of Gilroy
to be known as the "Annexed 'lerritory Sewer Connection Fund", into which
shall be deposited and placed the moneys collected under this ordinance, said
moneys to be used for the repairs, maintenance and construction of the
sewer system in the City of Gilroy including the sewerage disposal planto
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances of the City of
Gilroy in conflict herewith shall be repealed to the extent of the conflicto
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
