AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AME~DING SECTION 71 OF
ORDIIANCE NO. 480 OF SAID CITY, RELATING TO THE REGULATION
AND CONTROL OF TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY
OF GILBOY BY PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL STOP INTERSECTION.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL UF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
Section 71 of Ordinance No. 480 of the
City of Gilroy shall be and is hereby amended by adding a
new subdivision thereto, to be known as Subdivision 10, to
read as follows:
10: On Eighth Street on both East and West entrances
to the intersection of Eighth Street and Dowdy Street,
stopping both East and West bound traffic at Dowdy Street.
SECTION I!Q: The Cheif Administrative officer of
the City of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause to be erected
and put in place stop Signs at the said street intersection
in accordance with Section 30 of the said Ordinance No. 480.
SECTION THREE:
All ~rdinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION .EQ.ill!:
This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage and approval.
