AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION NO. 70 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 480 OF SAID CITY RELATING TO THE REGULATION AND
CONTROL OF TRAFFIC UPON PUBLIC STREETS OF THE CITY OF GILROY
BY PROVIDING AN ADDITIONAL TBROUGH STREET.
THE MAYOR AND CO~~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Section 70 of Ordinance No. 480 of the City
of Gilroy is hereby amended by addin~ a new subdivision there-
to, to be known as Subdivision 9, to read as follows:
9: On Eigleberry Street between First Street and Tenth
Street except for the intersection at Fifth Street.
SECTION II: The Chief Administrative officer of the
City of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause to be erected and
put in place stop signs at the streets intersecting with said
Eigleberry Street in accordance with Section No. 30 of said
Ordinance No. 480.
SECTION III: All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full,force from and after its passage and approval.
ADOPTED and PASSED THIS 7th day of September, 1954, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Pate, Gallo, Kennedy, Rush,
Petersen, Sanchez
