ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIuN 60 OF ORDINaNCE No.480 OF THE CITY
OF GILROY, REGULATING TRAFr'IC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE
CITY OF GILRuY BY FURTHER RESTRICTING PARKING TIME uN CERTAIN
STREETS IN THE CITY OF GILROY.
SECTION ONE: Ordinance "N"o. 480' of the City of Gilroy
commonly known as the traffic ordinance, is hereby amended by
amending Secti0n 60 thereof to reat! as follows:
Section 60. Additioval Parking Restrictign~:
(a) When authorized signs are in place giving notice
thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle on
Sl~th Street between Eigleberry Street and the entrance to the
alleys extending through Block 1 Horth Range 1 West Block 1
South Range 1 West of the City 0f Gilroy between the hours of
7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day except Sunday and holidays
for a pc:riod of time longer than ten (10) minutes..
(b) When authorized signs are in place giving notice
thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle on
Forest Street between I.O.O.F. Avenue and Swanston Lane between
the hours of 8:00 o'clock a.m. and 5:00 o'clock p.m. of any day
except Sundays and holidays.
(c) When authorized signs are in place giving notice
thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park,any 'vehicle on either
side of I.u.O..F. Avenue West of the Southern PacificRail Road
Company right of way, 01" on the North side of said AVenue East
of the said Southern Pacific Rail Road Company right ,of waY;
between the h0urs of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 6:00 o'clock p.m.
of any day except Sundays and holidays.
SECTION TWO: The chief administrative officer of the
City of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause the said signs to be
placed and erected in accordance with the provisions of this
ord inance .
SECTION THREE: Subdivision (2) of Secti0n 72 of Ordinance
No. 480 of the City of Gilroy is hereby repealed and all other
ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed, and this ordinance shall take affect and be in full
force from and afte,r its passage and approval.
