THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 13 of Ordinance No. 428 of the City ot
Gilroy is bereby amended t<?, :re.~~as follows:

RUBB ISH:
It shall be unlawful for any garbage collector to charge
any person,as herein defined, any sum of money for the hauling and
collection of any garbage or r~bbish in the City of Gilroy in excess
of the fOllowing prices:
FOR GARBAGE AND RUBBISH i! ONE COLLECTION:
Three cubic feet or, less:

'Nhere garbage is kept upstairs at apartment houses and rooming
houses an extra charge of fifty (50t) cents per month shall be
made.
, Where rubbish is so placed as to make it difficult of access and
requiring additional time for its removal and cOIl~ction, an
extra charge shall be made at the rate of one ($l.O~) dollar
per hour.
SECTION 2: All'ordinances and parts of ordinances, including
Ordinance No~ 429, in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
torce from and after January l, 1955.
