ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION NO. 72 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 480, REGULATING PUBLIC TRAFFIC UPON THE STREETS
OF THE CITY OF GILROY BY RESTRICTING PARKING TIME ON CERTAIN
ADDITIONAL STREETS IN THE CITY OF GILROY
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section No. 72 of Ordinance No. 480 of the
City of Gilroy, commonly designated as the traffic ordinance,
as heretofore amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 72. Parki~ Time Limited 2n Certain
Enumerated Streets. In accordance with Section 59,
parking is limited to two hours between the hours of
7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day except Sunday and
hOlidays upon any of the following enumerated streets:
10 Upon any street within a business district
outside of the Central Traffic District.
2. Odd Fellows Avenue between the Southern
Pacific Railroad Companyfs right of way and Forest
Street.
3. On Eigleberry street between Fourth Street
and Sixth Street.
4. On Fourth Street, between Eigleberry and
Monterey Streets.
SECTION II: The chief administrative officer of the City
of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause signs to be placed and
erected, giving notice of the restrictions on parking established
by this ordinance, in accordance with Section 59. of said Ordinance
No. 480.
SECTION IV: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and th~ ordinance shall take
effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approvalo
ADOPTED and PASSED this 12th day of March, 1956, by the
following vote:
