ORD INANCE NO. '561
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SUBDIVISIONS (A),
(C) AND (F) OF SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 479 OF SAID CITY
ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF WATER COLLECTOR, PROVIDING FOR
THE DUTIES THEREOF AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS, RULES, RATES,
CHARGES, FEES, SERVICES AND PENALTIES FOR TIm USI<: OF WATER
SUPPLIED BY OR THROUGH THE WATER DEPARTHENT OF THE CITY OF
GILROY BY INCREASING TEE HATES AND CHARGES FOR METERED AND
UNMETERED WATER:
The Common Council of the City of Gilroy does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Subdivision (a) of Section 5 of Ordinance
No. 479 of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended to read as
follows:
(a) Rates and charges for metered water sold with-
in the City Limits for all uses:

For an unmetered services a flat rate of $1.50 per month
shall prevail.
Where the period of service is less than one full month
and the water consumed is less than the minimum, the minimwn
charge shall prevail, and if water consumed is more than the
minimum, the meter reading shall prevail.
Section 2. Subdivision (c) of Section 5 of said Ordi-
nance Noo 479 of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended to
read as follows:
(c) Rates and charges for metered water sold
without the City Limits for all uses:

Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinance of the
City of Gilroy in conflict with this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and from
and after the first day of October, 1957.
