AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION NO. 5 OF SECTION NO. 240
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GILROY, RELATIVE TO THE FIRE
LIMITS AND ES TABLISHING THREE FIRE ZONES, BY ADDING THERETO CERTAIN
OTHER TERRITORy.IN SECOND FIRE ZONE.,

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That Section B of Subdivision 5 of Section 240 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy as set forth in Ordinance #570,
be and the same is hereby amended so as to include within and as a
part of the second fire zone, the following described territory, to wit:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the
center line of Old Gilroy Street with the center
line of Railroad Street and running thence in a
Northwesterly direction along the center line of
Railroad Street to its intersection with the center
line of Lewis Street; thence in a Southwesterly direction
along the center line of Lewis Street to the Westerly
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company right-
of-way; thence in a Southeasterly direction along
the said Westerly line of said right-of-way to its
intersection with the center line of Old Gilroy
Street; thence in an Easterly direction to the
point of beginning.
SECTION' 2. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION ~. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after its passage and approval.
