ORDINANCE NO. 579
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY .~ENDING SECTION NO. 71
OF ORDINANCE NO. 480 OF SAID CITY, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC
ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBDIVISIONS 26, 27, AND
28, PROVIDING FOR PLACING OF ADDITIONAL STOP SIGNS.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: Section NO. 71 of Ordinance Number
480 of the City of Gilroy as heretofore amended, is hereby
amended by adding three new subsections thereto to be known
as Subsections 26, 27, and 28, to read as follows:
26. On Murray Avenue at its South entrance to
Leavesley Road stopping North Bound traffic
at the intersection of Leavesley Road and
Murray Avenue.
27. On Murray Avenue at its North entrance to
1. o. 0.. F. Avenue stopping South bound
traffic at the intersection of Murray and
I. O. O. F. Avenues.
28. On Alexander Street, at both North and South
entrances to the intersection of Ninth Street
and Alexander Street, stopping both North and
South bound traffic at Ninth Street.
SECTION TWO: The Chief Administrative Officer of
the City of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause to be erected and
put in place, Stop Signs at the said street intersections in
accordance with Section 30 of said Ordinance No. 480.
SECTION THREE: All ordinances and parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall take effect
and be in full force from and after i t:s passage and approval.
