ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 60 OF ORDINANCE NO. 480 OF THE
CITY OF GILROY, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE,
AS AMENDED.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION.. ONE: Section 60 of said ordinance No. 480
of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 60. Additional Parking Time Restrictions
(a) When authorized signs are in place giving
notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand,
or park any vehicle on Third Street between
Eigleberry Street and Monterey Street, in the
City of Gilroy, between the hours of 7:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m. of any day except Sunday and
holidays for a period of time longer than ten
(10) minutes.
(b) When authorized signs are in place g~v~ng notice
thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park
any vehicle on the North side of IOOF Avenue.
and no person shall stop, stand, or park any
vehicle on the South side of said IOOF Avenue
for a period of time longer than One (I) hour.

SECTION TWO: Subdivision (b) of Section 60 as set forth
in Ordinance No. 526 of the City of Gilroy is hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: The Chief Administrative Officer of the
City of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause the said signs to be
placed and erected in accordance with the provisions of this
o~dinance and remove any signs not required because of the repeal
of Subdivision (b) of said Section 60.
SECTION FOUR: All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION FIVE: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage and approval.
