N Q]; # 587 AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION Of THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY TO VACATE A TEN FOOT ALLEY OR RIGHT OF WAY, THE CENTER LINE OF 1;lHICH IS THE LINE I'IVII'ING LOTS 5~ AND 54 OF TRACT NO. 1784 SHER1-I/OOD PARK UNIT NUMBER 'ONE. THE MAYOR ANI' THE COMMON COUNCIL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: ThaMayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do hereby declare their intention to vacate a certain street, public alley, or thoroughfare in the said City of Gilroy, particularly described as follows, to-wit: All of the following described alley, or right of way or easement: The Northwesterly twenty-two (22) feet of a strip of land of a uniform width of ten (10) feet, the center line of which is the line dividing Lots 53 and 54 of Tract No. 1784 Sherwood Park Unit No.1, as shown upon the map thereof on record in the County Recorder's Office of Santa Clara County, in Map book 71, pages 28 and 29. SECTION TlNO: This ordinance shall be published and said alley or right of way posted as required in the Street Vacation Act of 1941, under which this proceeding is instituted, rlv and the 15 day of December, 1958, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the Common Council Chambers, in the Municipal Auditorium, at Sixth and Rosanna Streets, in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, is hereby designated as the time and pace at which said Common Council shall hear any and all persons interested in or who may object to the proposed va6ationo One publication of this ordinance shall be made in the GILROY EVENING DISPATCH, a newspaper published in the said City of Gilroy, at a date at least ten (10) days prior to the said time of hearing. f""- /-:J 7' .' ;J' ~..::.----/ I i I .,. ..... ... ~ ~ SECTION THREE: All ordinances an( parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealedo SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
