ORDINANCE NO. 593
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 422, OF THE CITY OF
GILROY BY REZONING TERRITORY FROM ZONE "E" DISTRICT TO
ZONE "B" DISTRICT.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section'l. That the following described premises
in the said City of Gilroy now located in Zone "E" District,
as the same is described and defined in Ordinance No. 422
of the City of Gilroy, as amended, are hereby removed from
said district and placed in Zone "B" District, to wit:
All of Park Meadows Unit No. 1 and all of Park
Meadows Unit No. 2 as shown upon the official
Maps of said subdivision, on file as a record
in the Office of the County Recorder of the
County of Santa Clara, State of California.
Section 2. Tnis Ordinance shall not be effective for
any purposes whatsoever unless and until the first row of
lots located immediately west of said Unit No. 1 are restricted
by the owners of the subdivision to one family dwellings to
a lot, by some provision, instrument, or change in the present
plat or map which will so restrict the use of said lots or by
building restrictions placed on record in the office of the
County Recorder of Santa Clara County, which will accomplish
said result.
Section 3. Reference is hereby had to the maps and
general zoning ordinance of the Ctty of Gilroy now on file
in the office of the City Clerk and the boundaries of said
"E" and "B" Districts shall be changed in accordance with and
to conform to this ordinance and a map constituting a part of
the said ordinance No 422 of the City of Gilroy, in said
Ordinance and herein referred to shall be made to conform to
the changes herein set forth when this ordinance becomes ef-
fective.

Section 4. All Ordinances and Parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
