ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION NO. 71 OF
ORDINANCE NOo 480 OF SAID "'ZTY, KNOWN AS THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE.
AS AMENDEDe BY ADDING SUBDIVISION 29 THERETO, PROVIDING FOR PLACING
OF STOP SIGNS AT FOURTH AND CARMEL STREETS.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: Section Noo 71 of Ordinance Number 480 of
the City of Gilroy as heretofore amended, is hereby amended by
adding a new subsection thereto to be known as Subsection 29r to
read as follows:
290 On Fourth Street at both East and West entrances
to Carmel Street, stopping East and West bound
traffic on Fourth Street at Carmel Streeto
SECTION TWO: The Chief Administrative Officer of the City
of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause to be erected and put in
placer Stop Signs at the said street intersection in accordance
with Section 30 of said Ordinance Noo 4800
SECTION THREE: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealedo
SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage and approvalo
