ORDINANCE NO. 614
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION 71 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 480 (TRAFFIC ORDINANCE) BY ADDING A NEW SUBDIVISION THERETO PRO-
VIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL STOP INTERSECT IONo
The Common Council of the City of Gilroy does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 10
Section 71 of Ordinance Noo 480 Of the City
of GilroYr is hereby amended by adding thereto a new subdivision
designated as number 30 to read as follows:
300 On the Southerly branch of Welburn Avenue at
its intersection with Monterey Street~ stopping
East bound traffic on said Southerly branch of
Welburn Avenue at said intersectiono
SECTION 20 The chief administrative officer of the City
of Gilroy is hereby directed to cause a stop sign to be put in place
and erected at said street intersection in accordance with Section
30 of said Ordinance Noo 4800
SECTION 30 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealedo
SECTION 40 This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approvalo
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of November, 1959~ by the
