ORDINANCE NO. 621
ORDINANCE NOo 621 OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING A FUND TO BE
KNOWN AS "CAPITAL OUTLAY RECREATION FUND" AND PROVIDING FOR EXPENDITURES
TO BE MADE THEREFROM.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: There is hereby established by the Common Council
of the City of Gilroy a fund to be known and designated as "Capital
outlay Recreation Fund" for, ,the purpose of providing money for capital
expenditures for recreational facilities in the City of Gilroyo
SECTION 2: There shall be deposited in the said "Capital Outlay
Recreation Fund" $ the sum of Seven Thousand Five Hundred ($7q500000)
Dollars received as the proceeds of the sale of the approximately
two (2) acres of land of the City of Gilroy.. forming a part of what
is known as the Gymkhana property, to the Republic Powdered Metals,
Inc., a corporation.. less any expenditures to be made by the City of
Gilroy on account of the said sale.. and there shall be also deposited
in the said fund and made a part thereof.. such additional sums as mayz
from time to time.. be provided for by action of the Common Councilo
SECTION 3: The moneys in the aforesaid "Capital Outlay Re-
creation Fund", shall be expended only for equipment and facilities
and other capital purposes in connection with and as a part of any
recreation program or undertaking for the people of the City of Gilroy
or any group thereofo
SECTION 4: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealedo
SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approval.
