ORDINANCE NO. 62~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION NO. 46 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 480 OF THE CITY OF GILROY BY AUTHORIZING ANGLE
PARKING ON THE EAST S~DE OF EIGLEBERRY STREET BETWEEN FOURTH
AND SEVENTH STREETS.
THE COUNCIL OF THE C~TY OF GILROY DOES ORDAiN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section No. 46 of Ordinance No. 480 of the City of Gilroy
is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 46. Anqle Parkinq Prohibited Ex~ept on Eiqleberrv Street.
There shall be no angle parking of any vehicle upon any of the Streets of
the City of Gilroy, except upon the East side of Eigleberry Street between
Fourth Street and Seventh Street, until and unless an ordinance of this City
permits the same.
Section 2. Parking of vehicles at an angle of 40 degrees to the line
of the curb is hereby authorized on the East side of Eigleberry Street
between Fourth and Seventh Streets.
Section 3. The Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Gilroy is
hereby directed to cause lines to be marked upon that part of said Eigleberry
Street upon which diagonal parking is permitted designating the area or
space within which vehicles shall be parked.
Section 4. This ordinance shall not take effect until 30 days from
and after its adoption and approval, nor until markings have been made upon
said portion of Eigleberry Street upon which diagonal parking is herein per=
mitted as required by Section 3 of this ordinance.
Section 5. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
