ORD lNANCE NO. 680
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4.7 AND 4.19
OF ARTICLE 2 CHAPTER 4 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Sec. 4.7 of the Gilroy City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 4.7 License---Required.
It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or cause to be
kept within the City for more than two days, any dog past the age
of four months unless the same is validly licensed as provided
in this article and unless the same has around its neck a collar
having attached thereto a metalic plate or tag as provided by
this article.
Section 2. Sec. 4.19 of said Gilroy City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 4.19 Monthly report and compensation of pound-
master.
The poundmaster shall make a monthly report to the City
Council of all dogs captured, redeemed or destroyed during the
previous month.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force 30 days after its passage and approval.
