ORDINANCE NO. 686
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION 15.41 OF THE
GILROY CITY CODE BY DESIGNATING FOUR ADDITIONAL INTERSECTIONS OR
PLACES AT WHICH VEHICLES OR DRIVERS OF VEHICLES SHALL STOP AND AT
WHICH STOP SIGNS SHALL BE PLACED
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Sec. 15.41 of the Gilroy City Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of four new intersections or
places at which drivers of vehicles shall stop and at which a
stop sign shall be placed and which said additional places and
intersections shall be numbered 75, 76, 77, and 78 and be as follows:
75. On Diane Court at its northern entrance to
Welburn Avenue stopping traffic south bound
on Diane Court at Welburn Avenue.
76. On Wayland Lane at both north and south entrances
to welburn Avenue stopping the north and south
bound traffic on Wayland Lane at Welburn Avenue.
77. On La Alondra Way at its northern entrance to
Welburn Avenue stopping traffic south bound
on La Alondra Way at Welburn Avenue.
78. On La Paloma Way at its southern entrance to
Welburn Avenue stopping traffic north bound
on La Paloma Way at Welburn Avenue.
The Administrative Officer of the City of Gilroy shall require
stop signs to be placed at the foregoing intersections and places
to carry out the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION II: All other parts and portions of said Ordinance
15.41 shall not be affected by the adoption of this ordinance.
SECTION III: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION XV: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force 30 days from and after its passage and approval.
