AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 422, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONI'NG
ORDINANCEII BY REZONING TERRITORY THEREIN FORMING A PART OF LAS ANIMAS
RANCHO, LQJ 23, FROM ZONE liP' DISTRIC-<r AND PLACING THE SAME IN ZONE
IIC-l" DISTRICT.
THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF GilROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
Section 1. That the following described premises forming a part of
las Animas Rancho, lot 23, in the said City of Gilroy now located in Zone
"Ell District as the same is described and defined in Ordinance No. 422, com-
monly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, now set forth in
the Appendix to the Gilroy City Code are hereby removed from said district
and placed in Zone "C-l" District, to-wit:
Being a portion of lots 1,2, and 3 of Henry Miller's Subdivision
of las Animas Ranch lot 23, as shown on Map thereof recorded in
Book IIHI! of Maps at page 5, Records of Santa Clara County, Calif-
ornia, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly line of Wren Avenue
with the northerly line of Bodfish Mill Road (now Hecker Pass
Highway) as shown on said Map and running thence along the easter-
ly line of Wren Avenue N. 00 47' E. 473.90 feet; thence S. 890 15'
E. 1002.00 feet; thence N. 800 59' 40" E. 230.00 feet to a point
in the northeasterly line of said lot 1; thence along the north-
easterly line of said lot I S. 220 15' E. 555.97 feet, more or
less to the intersection thereof with the northerly line of Hecker
Pass Highway; thence along the northerly line of the Hecker Pass
Highway N. 890 151 W. 1425.60 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning, and
CONTAINING Approximately 14. acres more or less."
Reference is hereby had to the maps and general zoning ordinance of
the City of Gilroy now on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. The boundaries of said "E" District and said "C-I" Dis-
trlct are hepeby changed in accordance with and to conform to the ordinance,
and the map constituting a part of the said "Zoning Ordinance No. 422" of
the City of Gilroy, in said Ordinance and therein referred to shall be made
to conform to the changes herein set forth.
