Ordinance 718 ORD !NANCE NO. 718 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SEC. 15.69 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE BY REMOVING THIRD STREET BETWEEN EIGLEBERRY STREET AND MONTEREY STREET FROM THE DESIGNATED STREETS ON WHICH VEHICLES MAY BE STOPPED OR MAY STAND OR BE PARKED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:06 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. FOR A PERIOD ::NOT.' .]:N::~EXC"S OP.,.,\L:, ONE HOUR AND PLACING THE SAME IN THE LIST OF STREETS WHERE PARKING, STANDING AND STOPPING OF VEHICLES IS PERMITTED FOR TWO HOURS. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Subdivision (a) of Sec. 15.69 of the Gilroy City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: (a) When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle on the follow- ing designated streets between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of any day except Sundays and holidays for a period of time longer than one hour: 1. The south side of I.O.O.F. Avenue, from the easterly line of the Southern Pacific Company right-of-way to Forest Street. $E~TION II. Subdivision (b) of Sec. 15.69 of the Gilroy City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: (b) When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle on the follow- ing designated streets between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of any day except Sundays and holidays for a period of time longer than two hours: 1. Monterey Street, between Seventh Street and Eight Street and from Second Street to Leavesley Road. 2. Eigleberry Street, between Third Street and Sixth Street. 3. The east side of Railroad Street, between Old Gilroy Street and Lewis Street and the weat side of"Railroad Street between Old Gilroy Street and Martin Street. 4. Fourth Street, between Monterey Street and Eigleberry Street. 5. Fifth Street, between Monterey Street and Eigleberry Street. 6. Sixth Street, between Eigleberry Street and the westerly line of the Southern Pacific Company right-or-way line. ~ (1) '1/8 7. Lewis Street, between Monterey Street and the westerly line of the Southern Pacific Company riWllt-of-way line. 8. Martin Street, between Monterey Street and the westerly line of the Southern Pacific Company right-of-way line. ~ 9. Third Street, between Eigleberry Street and Monterey Street. SECTION III. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION IV. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force 30 days from and after its adoption and approval.
