ORDINANCE NO. 723
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 711 (ZONING ORDINANCE) BY REZONING FROM Rl TO
Cl COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TWO ACRES OF LAND BELONGING
TO WOODSIDE HOMES, INC.r SITUATED ALONG THE SOUTHERLY
SIDE OF HECKER PASS HIGHWAY
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1
Ordina.nc:e NO. 711, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy,
is hereby amended by removing from Rl zone and placing the same
in Cl Commercial Zone the following described premises located
in the City of Gilroy:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe in the southerly line of
the Hecker Pass Highway (formerly Bodfish Mill Road)
at the northerly corner common to Lots 5 and 6 as
shown on said map, and running thence along the line
common to Lots 5 and 6 S. 40 351 W. 537.25 feet to a
I" iron pipe; thence N. 880 45t E. 163.00 feet to a
I" iron pipe; thence N. 40 35t E. 537.25 feet to a I"
iron pipe in the southerly line of the Hecker Pass
Highway; thence along said southerly line S. 880 451 W.
163.00 feet to the point of beginning, and containing
2.000 acres of land.
SECTION 2
The zoning map of the City of Gilroy shall forthwith be
changed to reflect the above change in zoning.
Reference is hereby made to the zoning map of the City
of Gilroy for further particulars.
SECTION 3
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewtth
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty
(30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
