Ordinance 788 ORDINANCE NOo 788 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF C-O (COMMERCIAL OFFICE) DISTRICT TO P-O OR PROFES- SIONAL OFFICE DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has hereto- fore proposed on its own initiative that the zoning ordinance of the said City be amended by changing the designation C-O or commercial office District for one of the districts or zones into which the zoning ordinance divides the said city to P-O or professional office District; and WHEREAS, The said Planning Commission has held a hearing upon the said proposal after due and regular notice of said hearing was given, and the report of said Planning Commission upon the said proposal has been filed with the City Council and the said Council has heretofore fixed the 20th day of February, 1997, at the hour of 8:00 pomo in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, No. 10 South Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for the hearing of said report, and said hearing having been regularly con- tinued to February 21, 1967, and notice of said hearing has been given as required by law and the hearing has been held in accordance with the said notice and continued; and WHEREAS, The Council has heard and considered all of the evidence presented at said hearing and has determined that the said proposed amendment should be adopted, NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The designation "C-O" or Commercial Office District as one of the Zoning Districts into which the City of Gilroy is divided in the Zoning Ordinance of the said City of Gilroy is hereby changed to liP-Oil or Professional Office District" and whever in the said Zoning Ordinance the expression c-o or Commercial Office District appears or the expression C-O District or the expression Commercial Office District appears, it shall henceforth mean and be changed to P-O District or Professional Office District or P-O Professional Office District and all the regulations and rules set forth in the said Zoning Ordinance heretofore appertain- ing and applying to said c-o or Commercial Office District - 1 - 7 ',r) /! 1,.., c___ l} (-::J shall apply to and appertain to P-O or Professional Office Districte Section 2: The map forming a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy shall be changed to reflect the foregoing amendment. Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption and approvale The foregoing Ordinance was introduced and ordered published by adjourned title and summary at a regular/meeting of the Council of the City of Gilroy held on the 21st day of February, 1967, and finally adopted at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 6th day of March, 1967, by the following vote: ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Allemand,Duffin,Goodrich,Quartiroli, Wentworth, and Petersen.
