ORDINANCE NO. 814
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SEC.
19.82 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE BY PROVIDING
THAT DUPLEXES AND CERTAIN OTHER USERS ENUM-
ERATED SHALL PAY A MAXIMUM CHARGE OF ONE
DOLIAR DURING ANY CALENDAR MONTH AS A SANI-
TARy SEWER CHARGE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECT ION I:
Sec. 19.82 of the Gilroy City Code shall be and is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SEC. 19.82. Users other than those specified in sections
19.80 and 19.81
All other sewer users other than those specified in
sections 19.80 and 19.81 shall pay one dollar for the
first ten thousand gallons or less of water used each
calendar month and ten cents for each additional one
thousand gallons of water consumed each month in excess
of the minimum ten thousand gallon charge;provided,howeve~ that
.duplexes, multi-family dwellings, mobile homes or
trailer parks, rooming houses, lodging houses, board-
inghouses, dormitories, fraternity and sorority houses,
motels, auto courts and hotels shall pay up to but not
more than a maximum charge of one dollar per unit dur-
ing any calender month.
SECTION II:
All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION III:
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty
(30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
