ORDINANCE NO. 897
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION
6.11 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE BY INCLUDING IN FIRE
ZONE NO. 2 ALL TERRITORY NOW ZONED EITHER PO, Cl OR
C2 DISTRICT AND AUTOMATICALLY PLACING IN SAID FIRE
ZONE ANY TERRITORY WHICH MAY HEREAFTER BE PLACED IN
ANY OF SAID DESIGNATED ZONING DISTRICTS.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Sec. 6.11 of the Gilroy City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 6.11 Fire Zone No.2
Fire Zone No. 2 shall comprise all of the territory in
the city not included in Fire Zone No. 1 now zoned either
PO, Cl or C2 District; also all territory in the said City,
if and when, zoned in the future as any of said designated
zoning districts shall automatically from the time of the
zoning or rezoning be in and subject to the regulations of
Fire Zone No.2."
SECTION II: All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
This Ordinance was introduced and ordered published by title
and summary at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Gilroy held on the 17th day of August, 1970, and thereafter passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 8th
day of September, 1970, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BATREZ, KENNEDY, PATE, WENTWORTH
and GOODRICH
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
