ORDINANCE NO. 906
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION
23.3(1) OF THE CITY CODE PERTAINING TO TAXICAB
FARES SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR A MAXIMUM FARE OF SIXTY
CENTS FOR THE FIRST ONE-FIFTH MILE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Sec. 23.3(1) of the Gilroy City Code relating to
maximum taxicab fares is amended to read as follows:
(1) For the first one-fifth mile or fraction thereof,
sixty cents.
SECTION II. All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force (30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1970, by the
following vote:
