ORDINANCE NO. 922
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING AND ADOPTING
OFFICIAL PLAN LINES FOR WREN AVENUE FROM FIRST STREET
TO UVAS PARKWAY
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy,
California, has heretofore proposed that Official plan lines be
established for Wren Avenue from First Street to Uvas Parkway in
accordance with maps prepared by the City Engineer on file in
the Office of the City Clerk, entitled "Official Plan Lines for
Wren Avenue from First Street to Uvas Parkway"; and has held a
public hearing upon said proposal after giving due notice thereof
in accordance with law and has made its report to the Council
recommending adoption of said Official Plan Lines as proposed;
and,
WHEREAS, the said Council did heretofore fix Monday, the
3rd day of May, 1971, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy,
California, as the time and place for holding the hearing upon
the said report of said Planning Commission and due and legal
notice of said hearing having been given as required by law and
the Ordinances of the City of Gilroy, including the Official Plan
Line Ordinance, and said report and recommendation for the
adoption of the said plan lines having been duly considered by
the Council and the said Council deeming it in the public interest
that said plan lines be adopted as a part of the Circulation
Element of the General Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the said report and recommendation of the said
Planning Commission proposing the adoption of said Plan Lines be
and the same is hereby approved and the said Plan Lines as shown
upon the said maps above referred to, designated as "Official
Plan Lines for Wren Avenue from First Street to Uvas Parkway" are
hereby approved and adopted as the Official Plan Lines for Wren

Avenue from First Street to Uvas Parkway as a part of the
Circulation Element of the Ge~al Plan for the City of Gilroy.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified as such
by the City Clerk shall be delivered to the Santa Clara County
Planning Commission and the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of
Santa Clara County~
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force 30 days from and after its adoption and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of May, 1971, by the
following vote:
